Experience what it means to live in Brandywine Hills!
Brandywine Hills was first surveyed and mapped in October of 1929 and recorded in the office for the Recording of Deeds in New Castle County, Delaware in 1933. A few of the first homes date from the late 1920’s and new homes are still being built today.
Brandywine Hills is a community of approximately 260 custom built homes situated in a wooded area just North of Wilmington. The streets, named after American and English authors, such as Byron, Channing, Hawthorne and Whittier, are tree-lined with stone and brick homes characterized by their unique architectural and one-of- kind designs. You will immediately notice the wonderful craftsmanship from a bygone era.
The homes are as richly unique as the residents. The Wilmington News Journal described the neighborhood as a community that straddles “two worlds”, the best of city living in a park-like setting.
This is truly a special place to live. Those of us who live here can’t imagine living anywhere else. We frequently get together for block parties, jazz concerts, holiday events, and clean-up days. We have a very mobile population, for many of our residents commute to their workplaces in Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York and Washington, D.C. Residents enjoy the wooded enclave and soothing stream of Matson Run and are in walking distance to Historic Rockwood Park and Museum.
Brandywine Hills is a community that prides itself on its richly diverse residents. They care about each other, but respect each other’s privacy. The community has a very active Community Association and embraces a whole range of races, religions, nationalities, occupations, and backgrounds; we truly enjoy the diversity of our community! If you would like to experience our community more closely please call me at my office, 302-299-1100, or on my direct line, 302-299-1105. I would be happy to set up a personal tour for you and give you the opportunity to meet some of our neighbors.
Sincerely Yours,
Steven Anzulewicz

No man is worth his salt who is not ready at all times to risk his body, to risk his well-being, to risk his life, in a great cause. -- Theodore Roosevelt
